Kosmo Product Update - July 2023

Hi everyone,

This month’s newsletter probably includes the most important and exciting update yet: we officially launch our own fleet and route optimisation platform for local business.

These products empower our customers to create optimized delivery routes, track their drivers in real-time, and streamline delivery with its smart dispatching platform.

Thanks to our close collaboration with customers, we have learned the pain points that businesses face managing their own drivers. Based on this and on our past experience in logistics (the founding team worked at foodpanda, Amazon and NTUC FairPrice), Kosmo has developed tools that streamline delivery operations, optimize routes, and enhance driver-tracking capabilities.

Let’s explore the main components that make Kosmo the ultimate fleet optimization platform:

📱  Kosmo drivers app

Through this easy-to-use application, drivers receive their tasks and can seamlessly update the delivery status, which is instantly shared with dispatchers and customers. Additionally, drivers can use the app to capture proof of delivery, ensuring transparency and efficiency for the operations team.

📍  Route optimization

Kosmo eliminates countless hours of manual planning by swiftly creating the most efficient routes with a single click. By optimizing routes to align with customer requirements and fleet settings, businesses can maximize their delivery efficiency and minimize costs, ultimately providing a superior experience for both drivers and customers. The team can easily define the various constraints such as vehicle type, maximum capacity, and maximum number of stops to be considered when creating the routes.

🧑‍🚀  Dispatching platform:

Kosmo’s platform provides the ability to track all live orders in one place and easily take actions when needed. Merchants can define rules to trigger issues during delivery and take automated actions to solve them. Having all the deliveries under control allows businesses to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

💬  Customer notifications:

Keep the customer informed with automated status notifications. Customers will be informed via email, WhatsApp, or sms for every relevant update (e.g driver on the way, delivery delayed, etc..). Kosmo’s customers can choose to customise the tracking link with their logo and show the driver's real-time location for an exceptional customer experience.

👥  Team and roles:

Kosmo's team functionality empowers users to add team members with different roles and access rights, allowing an efficient collaboration and focused responsibilities. For example, fleet managers can easily onboard and manage their own drivers, who report directly to them and handle the orders within specific areas, streamlining operations and enhancing overall productivity.
