🧑‍💻 Manager role

We released a new role in Kosmo’s team function: “Manager”. The (fleet/area) manager role can be assigned to a specific location to restrict its access to orders specific to that location. The manager will be able to onboard its own drivers who will report to him, and easily optimise the deliveries and assign them to the most suitable driver. By assigning team members as fleet or location managers, businesses can leverage the expertise of their trusted employees to effectively manage drivers and ensure seamless order fulfillment.

The Manager Role feature enables businesses to assign dedicated managers to specific fleets or locations, resulting in improved coordination and streamlined operations. Managers have the authority to oversee their group of drivers and efficiently distribute orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Users with “Owner” or “Admin” roles will be able to easily oversee all the Managers’ actions and orders to keep all under control.

This new role is particularly beneficial for businesses operating in diverse areas, such as catering companies, meal plans and local e-commerces, where different areas are managed by team members overseeing a group of drivers.

🔀 Auto-dispatching

Kosmo can now automatically choose the best delivery option for you, optimising for price and for success rate. Skipping the manual check will help you save time for each delivery while being sure to be using the best available option.

By not showing all the available providers, we can now fit all the delivery types in one view allowing our users to compare ETAs and prices from different delivery options (instant, 4 hours, 1 day, 3 days) and take more informed decisions.

The vehicle filters allow easily go through the different quotes and focus the comparison only between vehicles that can fulfil the orders.
